The Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) is welcoming PhiTOPSS teachers and students to their annual conference on Friday, March 2nd with a special meeting and program for teachers on Saturday, March 3rd at the Downtown Marriott Hotel in Philadelphia, PA!
A series of programming that is especially of interest to students has been scheduled on Friday. Students may attend the conference as guests for $5 a person. Teachers must register as affiliate members ($30 per teacher if done in advance of the conference), though students can have their guest fee paid at registration. This is an excellent field trip opportunity!
On Saturday, we will meet at 9:30 AM (specific location to be announced) to have our organizational meeting. At 11:00 AM, we will have our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Ronald Pekala of the Director of the Biofeedback Clinic at the Coatesville Veterans Medical Center in Coatesville, PA, will present Your Best Breath: Breathing for Relaxation and Stress Reduction. There will be additional teaching symposia and research presentations throughout the day that are of interest to teachers.
